Brandon Bodnar

Brandon is a hands-on software engineer who turns complex technical challenges into production-ready AI/ML systems, data platforms, and secure cloud infrastructure across civic technology, enterprise, and startup environments.

Previously, he co-built a federal department’s first generative AI platform and led engineering teams delivering critical systems for immigration and humanitarian missions. He has also built feature stores and model serving pipelines to operationalize petabyte-scale data at John Deere and developed trust and safety tools to detect harmful content at Facebook.

Brandon holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and a J.D. from Cornell Law School. He is also a U.S. Air Force veteran who served as an Arabic linguist supporting counterterrorism operations.
